Winddancers - Original Pen and Ink

About The Work:

This neurographic-influenced pen and ink artwork was inspired by Page 2 of Dustin Glaseman’s story “The Boy In The Forest”: If you are quiet, you can hear him whispering to the willabees dancing on the wind and blowing bubbles with the budbucks bathing in the sun. I started this artwork on paper I had pretreated with a wash of ink colours leftover from another project (waste not!), then finished the hand-colouring once the black inkwork was complete. My zenworks emerge via a tranquil, meditative process that frees me to explore and experiment with line, shape and colour.

As a multi-passionate creator, I use a variety of mediums to create my work including pen and ink, printmaking and acrylic painting. I like to create my work with a calm, quiet meditative process with it being a reflection of what I observe around me when I am walking in nature.

Size: 8.5 × 11.5 inches, matted to 11 × 14 inches

Medium: Pen and Ink on acid-free paper

This work is matted to fit a standard size frame and enclosed in a protective clear plastic sleeve. A Certificate Of Authenticity is also included. Frames are not supplied.

Care and Handling:

Caution should be used in the hanging of your new original pen and ink artwork. Placement of your artwork in a neutral interior lighting location will prevent colours from fading. UV glass is highly recommended - avoid hanging in direct sunlight.
