Winddancers - Art Card

$6.50

About This Work:

The neurographic-influenced pen and ink artwork on this artcard was inspired by Page 2 of Dustin Glaseman’s story “The Boy In The Forest”: If you are quiet, you can hear him whispering to the willabees dancing on the wind and blowing bubbles with the budbucks bathing in the sun. I started this artwork on paper I had pretreated with a wash of ink colours leftover from another project (waste not!), then finished the hand-colouring once the black inkwork was complete. My zenworks emerge via a tranquil, meditative process that frees me to explore and experiment with line, shape and colour.

As a multi-passionate creator, I use a variety of mediums to create my work including pen and ink, printmaking and acrylic painting. I like to create my work with a calm, quiet meditative process with it being a reflection of what I observe around me when I am walking in nature.

Card Sizes:
Large 5x7in

Each art card has a printed artwork image on its exterior, a blank interior and comes with an accompanying white envelope, wrapped in a protective clear plastic sleeve.

Please note that colors may appear slightly different on screen than they do on your art card.
