The Greening #3 - Hand-pulled Original Print

About The Work:

The Greening reflects on the fertile ecosystem that results when diversity is embraced, spread by the winds of change and time, given the opportunity to grow and thrive, transforming barren landscapes into a rich tapestry of community, such as the forests in Manitoba.  Depicted here are Cottonwood, Green Ash, Trembling Aspen, Manitoba Maple (aka Boxelder), and Oak. This artwork was created by relief printing with a piece of lino into which I had hand-carved my design.  The carved plate was then inked and the image transferred onto paper by applying pressure to the back of the paper after it had been laid atop the inked plate. I then used lightfast Spectrum Inks to hand-colour the image.

Artwork Size: 4 × 6 inches matted to fit an 8x10 inch standard frame size.

This is a varied edition limited run of 20 works hand printed on acid-free fine art paper. Each work is matted and enclosed in a protective clear plastic sleeve. A Certificate Of Authenticity is also included.

Please note that colors may appear slightly different on screen than they do in person. Frames are not supplied.
