About The Work:

Dreams of leaves signify a new found happiness and improvement in varying aspects of life. Leaves are symbolic of fertility, growth, openness and the passage of time.  Seeing Maple leaves brings us the assurance of abundance in life, love, health and prosperity as she is the tree of offering with her unwavering generosity, balance, promise and practicality. 

"Scattered" is a varied-edition original hand-pulled print created by printing with a carved piece of lino onto dampened paper pre-coloured with inks, then manually printed with a press to achieve an embossed effect.  Block printing is an ancient printing technique where the artist carves a design into a solid block of material (such as wood, lino or styrofoam) much like a stamp. Once the design is complete, the block is inked with a roller and then applied to paper, fabric or other surfaces. 

Artwork Size: 4 × 6 inches matted to fit an 8x10inch standard frame size.

This is a varied edition limited run of 35 works hand printed on acid-free fine art paper. Each work is unique, matted and enclosed in a protective clear plastic sleeve. A Certificate Of Authenticity is also included.

Please note that colors may appear slightly different on screen than they do in person. Frames are not supplied.
