Prairie Patchwork - Original Pen and Ink
About The Work:
Prairie Patchwork reminds me of the patchwork quilts my mother used to sew from fabric scraps to cover old worn blankets. A way to save money and use up what was on hand. They were my favorite bed covering, having an extra warmth and coziness about them. And I loved the differing colours and patterns, and how it all came together in a beautiful way.
My Zenworks express my love of pen and ink and a desire to poetically meld the abstract with imagery created through spontaneous strokes and repeating patterns. Zenworks emerge via a tranquil, meditative process that frees me to explore and experiment with line, shape and colour.
Size: 9.25 x 13.5 inches, matted to 16x20in

This work is matted to fit a standard size frame and enclosed in a protective clear plastic sleeve. A Certificate Of Authenticity is also included. Frames are not supplied.

Care and Handling:
Caution should be used in the hanging of your new original pen and ink artwork. Placement of your artwork in a neutral interior lighting location will prevent colours from fading. UV glass is highly recommended - avoid hanging in direct sunlight.
