Peacock - Limited Edition Reproduction Print

$35.00

About The Work:

Peacock was inspired by my visit to India. The Peacock is a symbol of integrity and beauty and represents Nobility, Holiness, Guidance, Protection and Watchfulness. Peacock is associated with benevolence, patience, kindness, compassion and good luck. As an emblem of love, compassionate watchfulness, good-will, nurturing, and kind-heartedness, legend tells us she chose to remain a mortal (even though she could be immortal) because she wished to stay behind and aid humankind with their spiritual evolution. Peacock is also a symbol of immortality as the ancients believed the peacock's flesh to be eternal. The peacock naturally replaces his feathers annually; as such, the peacock is also a symbol of renewal. My Zenworks express my love of pen and ink and a desire to poetically meld abstract with imagery created through spontaneous strokes and repetitive patterns. Zenworks emerge via a tranquil, meditative process that frees me to explore and experiment with line, shape and colour.

Limited Edition Reproduction Prints (maximum run of 75) of the original Pen and Ink artwork are printed on acid-free fine art paper with a foamcore backmat and enclosed in a protective clear plastic sleeve. A Certificate Of Authenticity is also included.
