Freestyle #1 - Hand-pulled Original Print

About The Work:

Fish symbolize abundance, health, adaptability and a deeper awareness of ourselves and our environment. This varied edition hand-pulled linocut print was created from my own design I drew onto a piece of lino and then hand carved the design into the lino.  I inked the carved lino, layered it first with hand-coloured pre-glued chine colle paper, then with hosho japanese paper and hand-pulled the lot through a roller press to transfer the ink from the carved lino onto the paper.

Artwork Size: 4 × 6 inches matted to fit an 8x10 inch standard frame size.

This is a varied edition limited run of 15 works hand printed on acid-free fine art paper. Each work is matted and enclosed in a protective clear plastic sleeve. A Certificate Of Authenticity is also included.

Please note that colors may appear slightly different on screen than they do in person. Frames are not supplied.
