Five Frogs - Original Pen and Ink

$135.00

About The Work:

This pen and ink artwork was inspired by my walks in nature, the riotous beauty of diverse plants and flowers that are found along the trails and meadows including hidden gems such as frogs that are only noticeable in the stillness of patiently observing. Frogs symbolize transformation and rebirth through personal growth and leaps of faith. Sunflowers represent happiness, strength and positivity while wild roses stand for love, beauty, and harmony with nature.

I started this artwork penning in black ink outlines on paper, then hand-coloured with lightfast inks once the black inkwork was complete. My zenworks emerge via a tranquil, meditative process that frees me to explore and experiment with line, shape and colour, creating visually poetic works.
