Connected II - Original Collage
About The Work:
Connected II is part of a diptych set which reference the rippling impact of connectedness...my being asked along with other artists to participate in a marvelous collaboration, the invite from far-away friends I connected with through the internet, my brain’s synapses leisurely mulling this project’s concept and design into being, the challenge broadening my horizons by experimenting with a new art form, and other connections that will ripple and spread from there. The group challenge was called "More Than Just The Art" and the criteria I was assigned was: Technique: collage; Layout: in the form of a diagram, chart, or map; Text: abstract, non-verbal, gibberish; Paper: pre-treated (crumpled, dipped, textured, decorative, etc.); Colour: favourite; Image: found; Adjectives: quiet or subtle; encyclopedic; non-sequential; monotonous; ordinary or mundane.
Size: 8 x 10 inches matted to 11 x 14 inches
Medium: Acrylic and Torn Paper Collage on canvasboard
Year: 2015
This work is matted to fit a standard size frame and enclosed in a protective clear plastic sleeve. A Certificate Of Authenticity is also included. Frames are not supplied.
