Celebration #8 - Hand-pulled Original Print

About The Work:

My artwork “Celebration” was originally created for use as a demonstration piece while teaching a grade six class about block printing.  This design is a celebration of Canada and reflects on the joys and freedoms I have experienced being a Canadian while both living here and travelling abroad.  We have such a beautiful country, there is much to celebrate. This varied edition hand-pulled relief print was done with an original design I carved into a piece of lino that was inked and hand-printed onto paper.  I then hand coloured it using spectrum light-fast inks and added further embellishments with gel-pens.

Artwork Size: 4 × 6 inches matted to fit an 8x10 inch standard frame size.

This is a varied edition limited run of 10 works hand printed on acid-free fine art paper. Each work is matted and enclosed in a protective clear plastic sleeve. A Certificate Of Authenticity is also included.

Please note that colors may appear slightly different on screen than they do in person. Frames are not supplied.
