Birch Leaves #10 - Hand-pulled Original Print

About The Work:

This artwork reflects on beautiful leaves of birch trees growing in the wilds of Manitoba. Birch is a pioneer species and symbolizes rebirth, renewal, new beginnings and growth. This varied edition hand-pulled artwork was created by relief printing with a piece of lino into which I had hand-carved my original design.  The carved plate was then inked and the image transferred onto paper by applying pressure to the back of the paper after it had been laid atop the inked plate. I then used lightfast Spectrum Inks to hand-colour the image.

Artwork Size: 2.75 × 6 inches backed to fit an 8x10in standard frame size.

This is a varied edition limited run of 20 works hand printed on acid-free fine art paper. Each work is enclosed in a protective clear plastic sleeve. A Certificate Of Authenticity is also included.

Please note that colors may appear slightly different on screen than they do in person. Frames are not supplied.
