Our local beekeeping industry, along with the fertile soil and water sources in our area, support an abundance of food crops, wildflowers, prairie grasses and other natural vegetation, wild animals, livestock and livelihoods. Bees symbolize the celebration of community and fellowship, through hard work, diligence and a harmonious and peaceful co-existence.
