At Risk - Original Pen and Ink
About The Work:
At Risk was created in response to a Manitoba Species At Risk colouring book contest hosted by the Interlake Arts Council in Manitoba. Depicted are Monarch Butterflies, Leopard Frogs, Bumblebees, Western Silvery Aster, Western Spiderwort and Western Prairie Orchids along with Wild Ginger, Sweet Scented Bedstraw, Wild Strawberries and Wood Sorrel.
My Zenworks express my love of pen and ink and a desire to poetically meld the abstract with imagery created through spontaneous strokes and repeating patterns. Zenworks emerge via a tranquil, meditative process that frees me to explore and experiment with line, shape and colour.
Size: 11 x 14 inches, matted to 16x20in
Medium: Pen and Ink with Watercolour on acid-free paper
Year: 2021
This work is matted to fit a standard size frame and enclosed in a protective clear plastic sleeve. A Certificate Of Authenticity is also included. Frames are not supplied.

Care and Handling:
Caution should be used in the hanging of your new original pen and ink artwork. Placement of your artwork in a neutral interior lighting location will prevent colours from fading. UV glass is highly recommended - avoid hanging in direct sunlight.
