A Singular View - Original Collage
About The Work:
A Singular View explores the landscapes I enter in my dreams, solitary places with peaceful vistas and endless horizons warmed by the sun. This collage was made from my own hand-made mono-printed papers created with acrylic paints on a gelliplate.
I enjoy experimenting with gelli-plate printmaking using acrylic paints, stencils and other textured items to create interesting patterns and colours on thin papers suitable for collage. I then draw my design, select a variety of the resulting prints, cut them up and collage the pieces onto paper to create visual images such as this.
Size: 5 x 7 inches matted to 8 x 10 inches
Medium: Acrylic on Paper
Year: 2019
This work is matted to fit a standard size frame and enclosed in a protective clear plastic sleeve. A Certificate Of Authenticity is also included. Frames are not supplied.
