Zendoodling in Birtle, MB

It was a lot of fun sharing my love of zendoodling with the lovely folks at the Birtle Centre for the Arts. I did 2 workshops there - the first on April 14 and the second on May 12th 2024. We explored basic design, patterning, coloring and presentation techniques. I also provided some interesting supplies for us to play with - gel pens and alcohol ink markers for the first workshop plus brusho powders for the second. Both were delightfully arty days. During the first session we penned our designs on white paper, and during the second session we penned on pre-coloured paper using a neurographic style of zendoodling. Everyone enjoyed themselves - it was a relaxing creative way to spend a couple of afternoons. Birtle is a lovely Manitoba community with a vibrant Arts Centre and working studio for artists of all ages and mediums. And a big thank-you to my friend Gerrie for providing the wheels to get there and back!
